Thought it might be fun to mimic the picture Fourth of July on Lake Austin (see previous post). I took this picture yesterday from the Monongahela Bridge:
One problem I see is that the Monongahela River is at least twice as large as the body of water in the Austin photograph so the resulting image might not be as dramatic as I imagined. We’ll see.
Just curious, do any of you have a favorite spot to view the Monongahela fireworks other than from the Aquatorium? Here’s another spot I have in mind:

Thank you so much for posting the lovely pictures of Monongahela. I have only seen the city on a map. I live on the west coast and have pre-civil war Graham family ancestors from Monongahela.
