Jess, do you know of a “Ghilani Brothers” band who played throughout the Mon Valley in the 1980’s and 1990’s? I heard them at a few weddings an they were excellent.

🙂 I do! The Ghilani Brothers comprised of the men in my family. My father, my uncles, and my grandfather (prior to his passing) were all members. After the Ghilani Brothers dissolved, my dad formed another band that played all over the Mon Valley and greater Pittsburgh area called Mirage.
My dad will be excited to hear that they’re remember fondly!
